I try to live each day with passion for whatever I am doing, whether it’s working on a complicated project (or two or three!), meeting new people, volunteering in my community, running until I can’t run anymore, or cooking a delicious new recipe. Nothing is more exciting to me, however, than the rush of creative energy that builds as great ideas are dreamed up and developed into reality—both at work and in my personal life.
This blast of ingenuity gives me an appetite for public relations to create strategic, results-oriented campaigns of all types. I enjoy pitching stories, creating attention-grabbing publicity, writing compelling content for papers and speeches, developing programs that address real-world problems, researching information, speaking in front of large groups, creating great events, and developing successful marketing plans for events, programs, and products. I discovered my love of public relations and marketing after self-producing my first campaign as a sophomore in high school. It’s only become more of a passion since then.
I thrive on tight deadlines, observing minute details, and conquering challenges big and small along the way. Multi-tasking and prioritizing can make both communications and life hectic, but I appreciate the challenge.
As a senior at Boston College graduating in May 2013, my experiences with public relations, brand marketing, and event planning have empowered me to create change and develop a variety of successful campaigns, continuing what I began years ago.
